There is no one who is special.
Descriptive terms are inaccurate.
A leaf is no more special than a branch.
A branch no more special than the roots.
There can be no part of a whole that is special.
The words that are used to describe fool you into thinking that something could be better than something else.
Who made the rules of one thing being better than another thing?
Who decided?
When you see something that stands out, a being that stands out, it is similar to seeing the part of a plant that stands out to seeing the flower with its vibrant colour, its fragrant smell and you focus your attention on the flower and say it is special.
It is desirable.
Because you are like a bee.
You’re busy.
Busy buzzing and looking for benefit.
And so because you are trying to get something you are attracted to the flower.
And its vibrant colour and fragrant smell are there to attract you and it could not be without the rest of the plant.
It could not be without the water, the rain.
The flower could not be without the sunshine, the minerals of the earth.
It could not even be without you, you busy bee.
A flower could not be without the bee who wants something from it.
All of it is special.
Yet we overlook so much of it.
Cause we are distracted by the illusion of importance.
You are looking in one direction and saying that that direction is important simply because you have decided it to be.
You feel like there is benefit.
You feel like there is pollen.
And you try to get to the flower.
All the time forgetting that the flower is only a flower because it needs you.
It only exists because of you.
And it only exists in its splendor and in its glory because it needs you.
The whole plant needs you.
Its all connected.
And we come down to the root system - all the worms, all the dead organic matter, how it all swirls together in a perfected and intricate dance.
This is a metaphor of everything, every moment, ever scenario, every situation, everything you see can only be because you see it.
The will of the bee.
You have such a desire to serve you overlook how you are already serving.
You want more because somehow you were convinced that more is better.
More is the flower.
You don't need more: more avenues to serve.
-long pause-
You’re very wise, child.
And yet often a fool.
And perfectly innocent.
We are with you, always.
And we know you can hear us.
And we know you have the heart to share.
We see the work you have been doing.
How you’re softly and gently moving through fear, letting it go.
We see that you see love that’s on the other side of your fear and how you’re beginning to trust it.
Trust yourself and trust others.
We see how you’ve put down your shields you’ve put down your swords and we can support you with that.
There is no attack and you are held in this in-between.
Cradled.
Like Moses in a basket floating deep security towards a destiny that you, as a baby, could not yet know.
And yet you know.
You can feel the spark and the light inside of you.
You have come far enough to have faith in the current.
You’ve surrendered enough and seen how small you are and how any form of struggle is both futile and unnecessary.
There’s a golden light surrounding you now.
A certainty.
And soon your remaining allegiances and ties that bind you will be revealed to have never been there and you will see that you were never bound.
You can rest.
Rest in this last part of the journey for the first chapter is coming to an end and all that you’ve learnt and all that you gathered will be put to use as we turn the next page.
Allow yourself to feel how much love you have for what you still believe is imperfect.
See how you have been enjoying all the remaining victim-hood.
And be grateful for what it has given you.
Soon it will be gone.
So rest now.
Rest and gather your energy knowing that it is safe to rest and that when you are finished resting you will be energized and in perfect timing you’ll be called upon.
And you will be ready.
